Emerging Adviser Award

The Emerging Adviser Award recognizes CMA members with fewer than five years of experience in college media advising who have demonstrated outstanding service in a specific area of the field. Nominees must be actively advising at the time of their nomination.

Renamed from the Honor Roll Adviser Award in 2023, the Emerging Adviser Award is no longer categorized by medium. Instead, it honors advisers from both four-year and two-year colleges and universities. Multiple recipients may be selected annually, as determined by the CMA Awards Committee.
