College Media Association members and their students now have a source for remote training, thanks to a new partnership.

CMA is partnering with College Media Network to provide online training for CMA members and their students. CMN offers eight-week, hands-on online courses in specific areas of career development. The courses are offered year round.

“Providing an online training option for our members who perhaps cannot attend conventions has been a long-term goal of CMA,” President Chris Evans said. “Our partnership with CMN allows us to provide that training while also opening up a new teaching opportunity for our members.”

Interested CMA members may to apply to teach a course or courses of their choice.

"College Media Network courses are delivered by journalism professors and experienced journalists for college students and professionals. We’re thrilled to be partnering with CMA to provide experiential learning opportunities for college media advisers and their students as well as instructor opportunities for CMA members,” said Patrick Foster, executive editor and instructor director for CMN.
