CMA volunteers provide one-on-one, personal and direct connections with student media staffs to offer guidance and encouragement to those engaged in producing media.
As a central focus of its mission, College Media Advisers strive to assist students through providing critiques at its conventions. Typically, a student group will pay a small fee ($10) to reserve a 30-minute session with a seasoned adviser. (Fees are ALWAYS collected on site and are NOT part of the pre-registration process). The convention program and on site Information Desk will provide the latest information on critiques.
Critiques in New York will be offered Sunday (3/14) from 1pm until 5 pm and again on Monday from 10am until 1pm.<!--[if gte mso 9]>
This spring in New York City, CMA will interact with student delegates for critique sessions. The Spring National College Media Convention will be held March 14-16, 2010, at the Marriott Marquis Hotel on Times Square. For more information on the critique service, contact Bill Neville, critiques committee.

Later in 2010 CMA members will provide critiques in Louisville, Kentucky, as part of a fall convention that draws 2,500 students and advisers for four days of worshops, classes, programs, speakers and some fun.
