The CMA convention in NYC is getting close! And, more volunteers are needed for critiques. Based on the numbers, a large number of students at a large number of schools have benefited from these critiques, which are done by some of the best in the business. That's you!
Critique Schedule:
- Sunday, March 14 – 1-5 p.m.
- Monday, March 15 – 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Registration for critiques will take place near the registration area — look for the signs — on Sunday, March 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Space permitted, some critique assignments may be reserved Monday, March 15, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.)


Tell us your FERPA horror stories. The Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act was intended to protect educational records. However, as many know, some institutions have extended the definition of "educational" records to keep what should be public information behind a veil of secrecy. Kevin Schwartz at the University of North Carolin at Chapel Hill is collecting FERPA "horror story" anecdotes in an effort to make a case for reform of FERPA restrictions.
